DYB DYB DYB DOB DOB DOB!

In this post I’d like to talk about coding approaches. As you may be aware the old boy scout chant is an abbreviation of do your best and do our best. This also happens to be a software best practice, known as the boy scout rule. The spirit of which is to leave camp looking better than out did when you found it.
Currently I’m working with some legacy code which calls into question the validity of this practice. So I write this knowing it will motivate me to search for a more pragmatic approach.

Courage

Personality

Religious Wars

Boy scout rule

Clean code
